In March 2018, Denver Kids received a $40,000 grant through The Denver Post Season To Share presented by DaVita, the annual holiday fundraising campaign for The Denver Post Community Foundation.
The grant supports our efforts to provide educational counseling to young people in Denver Public Schools who are challenged by poverty and in need of additional support to help position them for success both in school and in life.
Grants are made possible with the generosity of Denver Post readers, the general public, and corporate donations with matching funds by DaVita. Funds were granted to more than 45 metro Denver nonprofit organizations that provide life-changing programs for low-income children, families and individuals in our community. The grants were presented to recipients at a March 25 gala in Denver.
