Teen Mother Education

The Teen Mother Education Project (TMEP) provides counseling and support for teen mothers who are referred to Denver Kids, Inc. following the birth of a baby.  The TMEP counselor assists this very high-risk population (most are second or third generation teen parents) by providing educational and social support, enabling these young women to complete high school.  TMEP is responsive to any innovative approaches that encourage these young women to value education and envision employment and careers that will lead to a better quality of life for them and their children.
