By providing small and consistent nudges over time, I get the opportunity to see young boys grow and develop into young men. This is what I enjoy most about serving students.
Describe a student outcome or success that you are most proud of.
One of my students had behavioral challenges in a school and was asked to leave. After some time the student enrolled back into a school that was better able to support him and provide the necessary structure he needed. The student is now motivated to succeed and is confident about his future and ability to be successful.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
“Struggle as we may, “fixing” will never make sense out of change. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and joint the dance” – Allen Watts
