Young Professionals Council

The Denver Kids Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a dedicated group of nearly 40 emerging leaders who share an interest in helping Denver’s youth succeed. From fundraising and events to mentor recruitment and raising awareness, YPC members are instrumental in furthering the work of Denver Kids.

YPC’s signature annual fundraising event is the Denver Faux Wedding: “a faux wedding for a real cause.” This fun-filled evening celebrates a fake couple and allows guests the opportunity to re-live everything they love about weddings – without the wedding. Members work in committees to solicit ticket sales, event sponsorship, in-kind contributions, and silent auction items.
