This past weekend Soul Day Foundation hosted Roll with Soul—their seventh event in support of Denver Kids. Sponsored by Define Cycling, Venture Sports Colorado, and Yellowbelly, Roll with Soul provided 60 of our students with brand new bicycles, locks, helmets…and pure joy.
For many, this day marked an important rite of passage: learning to ride a bike. One student in particular fell over multiple times, requested bandages after each scrape and tumble, but kept getting back on her bike. By the end of the day, she was riding in unison with her fellow Denver Kids peers, all grinning from ear to ear.
We thank Soul Day Foundation for their continued partnership and for providing our students with a newfound sense of adventure and a fun way to exercise and stay healthy.
Led by Carrie Dorr, founder of the Pure Barre fitness franchise, Soul Day Foundation’s mission is to provide a day of delight to lift the souls of those in need.
